Effect:
The performer displays four jumbo picture cards front and back, they are seen to all have the same back (a space rocket) and on the front three have space men in flying saucers and one has the image of earth. The performer now recites the famous children’s nursery rhyme (three little men in their flying saucers), as he begins to thumb through the cards only to find that on the verse of the nursery rhyme that says ‘And one man flew away’, that is exactly what is seen to happen as one card that was seen to have the image of one of the three spacemen in his flying saucer, has now changed both on its front and back. This card is placed on a nearby table and the rhyme repeated and once again another space man vanishes, leaving only one left, whereby this card also vanishes. Leaving only one card that is seen to have the image of the earth on it. This card is rotated and now this to has changed and now reads the words ‘THE END’.
